Biblical Basis for Ministry
And
let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let
us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us
encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching
(Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV).
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to
grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole
body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when
each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love
(Ephesians 4:15-16, RSV).

Benevolence Ministry |
We offer help to those
who are in need, whether it be with groceries, clothing, or some limited
financial help. If you are in need of benevolent help, please contact our
church office at 512-355-2322 for more information. |

Bus Ministry |
This ministry works in
cooperation with our Children’s, Education, and Youth Ministries. We
provide transportation to and from our Wednesday night service for those in
Preschool up through High School who may not be able to attend worship
service or Bible class otherwise. If you are interested in riding one of
our buses, contact us and one of our yellow buses will come pick you up on
Wednesdays. |
Children’s Ministry |
This ministry is
offered for those children who are in Elementary School or younger.
Presently we offer monthly devotionals and activities for these children and
their families and we are planning a regular Sunday night Children’s Church
program that will resemble our Wednesday night Bible Hour program. |
Counseling |
We do offer premarital,
marital, family, and some personal counseling in areas that our staff are
experienced and certified in. However, we do not offer professional
psychological or psychiatric counseling, although we do provide contact
information for these specialists. |
Education Ministry |
This ministry oversees
our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible classes and works in
cooperation with our Children’s Ministry to oversee our Wednesday night
Bible Hour program and our future Sunday night Children’s Church program.
We offer a number of age-graded youth classes and adult classes during our
Sunday and Wednesday meeting times and also provide a Preschool/Daycare
program on Tuesdays and Fridays. |
Family Ministry |
Although most of our
ministries fall under the category of Family Life Ministry, this program
specifically ministers to families, both those with and without children.
Through the offering of a Homebuilders class on Sunday mornings and the
promotion of family-oriented activities and special programs/workshops, the
goal of this ministry is to build up Christian families in a time when our
society looks to tear them down. |
Hospitality Ministry |
This ministry is aimed
at those who bless our congregation by visiting us during the week. This
ministry consists of our Greeters who meet you when you arrive on our
campus, our Ushers who will gladly seat you and see to any needs you may
have, and our Visitation Team who will contact you during the week and
invite back to service or to any upcoming functions we may be sponsoring. |
Involvement Ministry |
This ministry seeks to
incorporate all those members who wish to serve in the overall ministry of
our congregation. This is done through surveying one’s spiritual gifts and
personality style and then plugging that person into the ministry or
ministries that he or she feels they can best contribute to. |
| |
Media Ministry |
This ministry oversees
all of our Audio/Visual equipment and operates the technical aspect of our
worship services (i.e., sound equipment, PowerPoint, and song projection).
This ministry also oversees the production of our informational brochures,
teaching materials, this website, and our weekly bulletin. |
Men’s Ministry |
This ministry is
currently conducted through our Men’s Leadership Group that meets on Sunday
mornings. |
Prison Ministry |
In cooperation with the
congregation in Marble Falls, we provide the ministry for those women who
have been confined to the Halbert Facility in Burnet, Texas. Each week we
conduct a short worship service and then a team of women will teach New Life
Behavior courses for the inmates there. At present, we have had over 400
baptisms during the time of our work at the Burnet facility. |
Singles Ministry |
This ministry is for
all those male and female singles over the age of 18. Through weekly Bible
classes and regular activities, this ministry strives to develop and nurture
faith in those who are engaging this hostile world as a single Christian
adult. |
Spiritual Formation Ministry |
Through mentoring and a
variety of different spiritual exercises, retreats, and classes, this
ministry seeks to provide our members with valuable insights into their
spiritual makeup so that they can discover their full potential as
Christians. Activities are offered on different subjects and at various
times of the year. |
Women’s Ministry |
This ministry for women
currently operates in two functions: 1) our Women’s Devotional Group on
Wednesday evenings, and 2) our Secret Sisters fellowship program. |
